Katie's Wedding Day

In case you dont know today is Katie's wedding day. She will marry James Ellis at 5:00 MT.

Anthony

Well Richard called tonight to update Anthony condition. He is doing well, he can use his hands and feed himself and also he talks really well now. The right leg will work but not the left. But that is what therapy is for.

Plus the doctor is having him play hand held video games to help the use of his hands. Oh well that is one excuse to play video games all day.

Other than that no new news. Except we now have a dirt lawn the people were here on Saturday and turn up all the weeds so so we have a yard of dirt with big piles of dirt and cement.

Good News!!!

Richard has called tonight with some good news about Anthony. He can now talk to you not long but he can carry on a conversation. In fact I just had a short conversation with him.

He says he is doing better. He still can not move his limbs well but that is what physical therapy is for. All of this was caused because of lack of oxygen to the brain. When he was found his chest was compressed to the steering wheel and he was not breathing the amount needed for oxygen to get to his brain. In fact if he had been found a hour later he probably would have died according to the doctor.

So our prayers are working. I want to thank all who have prayed and fasted for Anthony. It really has worked.

Will write more when I get it.

Fence

Yes this Saturday Mom had the fence taken down. The yard looks bigger without it. She is going to have lawn and sprinklers and a new fence put back up in the next few months.

The guy next door had a bin and a crew coming to do his yard so they did Mom's also. As you can tell we still have a gate it does not open but we have a gate. It is in the cement so it needs to be cut out so the cement is not broken.

So after 50+ years we no longer have a fence for awhile. David was not happy she took it all down he thinks everyone will now walk on our lawn I said what lawn it is all weeds!

bummer news

At least I think it is bummer news. The Target closet to my house is CLOSING. I know how awful. It closes January 6th and will not reopen till October that is what they say but we all know how construction is.


On a happier note it might save me money. I wont go as often so that way I can not spend so much. There is one around us but not so close. It would mean more drive time.

They are going to make it look like all the other new Targets and I heard change the front door to face Balboa.

Oh well progress is good right?

But I will miss my Target I knew it so well. I never got lost and knew where something was.
