Christmas is over

Well Christmas is offically over in our house. We spent Friday night and Saturday taking everything down and boxing it up. I had to go and buy more bins for storage. I purchased a few decorations in the after Christmas sales, so not everything fit. We also had to drive out to San Marino to exchange Mom sweater she got from Charlie & Jeanette.

It is a Pendleton. She loves that sweater and it was too big so I had to go online and find a store only found one in San Marino.


Mary came and helped yesterday then we all went out to dinner.


I cant believe it is another new year. Time goes by so rapidly.


Well all of you have a wonderful New Years Eve and Day. I am spending tomorrow at the movies.

Diane gave Adam this tie for Christmas I thought it was cool!!. It is the Blues Brothers but I took it for his mission tie.
This is for Alice. She gave Mom the table cloth for Christmas, the flowers came form Joan and Fred.

I hope you all had a good Christmas!!! Mon and I had a wonderful one. We went and saw We Are Marshall. It was a pretty good movie. We both enjoyed it.

update on Anthony

Richard and Julie called tonight to give us an update on Anthony. He has been moved to rest home so that they can prepare him to be able to have rehab. He cannot talk, or walk or use his hands. He still cannot speak.

They will work with him to get him ready to got the University of Utah for rehab. He must be able to endure 3 hours of intense exercise.

He has to be able to walk, use his hands and talk before rehab can be effective. Richard said that the therapist that would take about 2 weeks. So he is temporarily at the rest home.

If you would like to send cards to Anthony just send them to Richards house and Julie will take them to him. He needs to know we are behind him. If you need Richard's address email me and I will email you back.

Before they left him there tonight Julie said Richard gave me a really nice blessing.

It looks like this will be a long haul. So he will need all our prayers and support. Which you have been giving all along.

Will write more when I get more infro.

I am done with shopping

I am so thrilled I am done with my Christmas shopping usually I am running around on Christmas Eve buying something. But not this year. I have even finished most of the wrapping. Just have Mom left. So now I am going thru all my 2006 paperwork and shredded all the old stuff and getting the other ready to file away.

We have just finished watching the Choir on PBS. It was really good. But then again they always are. I still have a few Christmas movies to watch. I will do this weekend..

News on Anthony

Nothing new so far this weekend. I assume since Richard has not called all is the same. I will update when I get more infro.

More News on Anthony

Richard called Mom tonight to tell her that Anthony has developed a blood infection. He has a temp of 102 degrees, his kidneys are fine but his liver is still healing. They did a MRI but wont know the results until tomorrow 12/14. He is still not talking. I will give more infro when I get it. Thanks for all your prayers and support.

Update on Anthony

Richard called this evening with an update. He has not moved out of ICU yet I was wrong. He is improving, however he does not carry on conversations. He is awake. He responds visually and by squeezing your hand and he is on clear liquid diet. He will be at the hospital for awhile do not know yet for how long. He will begin therapy but Richard do not know the exact date.

He also wants to thank all of you for your prayers and for your fast today for Anthony he really appreciates all of you have done for his family.

Will write more when I get more.

News on Anthony

Mom just got a call from Richard and Anthony woke up and knew Julie, but he was not able to form words or speak so the doctors put him back under to relieve the stress of that. Richard had not seen him yet so he was finishing up his job and then he was going to the hospital. He will call Mom tonight with more news. So our prayers are working. The fast is still set for Sunday. More to news to come when I get it. Mom is going to the temple this afternoon that is why Richard will call at night I will be at Bonny so I will update when I get home if there is more news.

Just a short update on Anthony. Richard called and tonight and said he is better. Still unconscious but his kidneys and liver are doing better. He knows when someone is there he reacts to people. When Richard left he was asleep even snoring. So I will tell more when I get updates. Thanks!

June called me on Monday and asked if I would announce Bobby birthday party. All are invited. The day is December 10th (Sunday) from 6 pm to 9 pm at Bobby and June house. Decorating the Christmas Tree & Mom with new Baby

Here are some pictures the first one is Mom with new baby Fella and Ella and Esme' then Mom with our tree we just put up tonight and the new nativity scene that I got at Costco it is really cool! I hope you are all having a Merry Christmas season! We had decorated the rest of house on Saturday. The tree was the one remaining thing left.
