Happy Father's Day

Today is Father's Day and for the seventh time I do not have a living father. But I know he is always there for me. I know that he loved me very much. The best memories I have of my Dad is going to Daddy Daughters dinner at the church and when he was very tired he would get dressed and go to every concert I was in. He also read David and I bedtime stories out of a Walt Disney story book. He had the best voice for reading stories.

Also Barbara posted a picture of Daddy at farm which I think was his very favorite summer of all time. According to Mom he was 17 yrs old had just graduated from high school and also lost his mom that winter. The families name was Hodson their daughter was on a mission in CA and she got her parents to take in my dad for the summer they lived in Roy UT. He had so much fun there I have heard stories my whole life about the summer he spent on a farm. Then I thought they were boring but now I wished I had written them down.

So all your fathers out there I hope you had a great day. But I of course had the Best DAD in the whole world and I do miss him everyday.

This is a picture of me and my Dad March/April 1977, It was my senior year of high school. It was the Golden and Green Ball. Dont think they have them anymore. We had to go to a class and learn how to waltz together. Mary found this picture when she was going thru her boxes.
